Bum/Hip Dip Filler

Filler placed in the bum is used to fill hip dips or add volume/projection and lift to the buttock. 

Aftercare

  • Massage Area

  • Avoid exercise for 10 days

  • Do not bathe for 10 days

  • Shower 48 hours after treatment

  • Avoid consuming excess alcohol or salts

  • Use a cold compress 15mins an hour to reduce swelling if required.

  • Use paracetamol for discomfort

  • Try to sleep face up and elevated if swelling

  • Try to sleep on stomach for hio dip fillers

  • Start arnica to reduce brusing and swelling

  • No fake tan to area until healed

  • Complete the full course of antibotics

  • Change dressing every 48 hours

It is normal for there to be slight redness, swelling and tenderness around the treated area immediately after treatment, these signs generally disappear within a few days, but if they persist or any adverse effects occur.contact your practitioner for advice.

Process

A lidocaine injection will be used to numb the area. 

A cannula will then be inserted using an introducer, a flush (2ml lidocaine, 8ml sterile saline) will be used to loosen the area to allow the cannula to move more feely. 

The filler will then be placed into the area through the cannula using a fanning motion to evenly distribute the filler. 

The area will then be massaged to soften the filler. 

The area will be cleaned, and a sterile dressing will be applied. 

Additional dressings and antibiotics will be sent home with you.
